Parag Datta

Vice President

Parag Datta leads the OEC Renewables team. Parag has over 15 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors with a proven track record of developing renewable energy assets and structuring retail energy solutions. Parag has previously led the development activities of PowerON Energy Solutions (A subsidiary of Ontario Power Generation) and has experience with energy and infrastructure markets with Enbridge and Aecon. 

Parag holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree and is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario.

William Begley

Director, Business Development

William is a versatile, goal-driven team leader with 25 years of experience across the energy sector. De-regulation, energy efficiency, conservation, business development, asset management and emerging technology are just some of the areas of his expertise. William is well versed in both regulated and un-regulated aspects of the energy dichotomy. 

William is a perceptive, knowledgeable, analytical, creative and an outside the box thinker consistently balancing and leveraging needs of all parties to ensure win-win outcomes. William is a very engaged leader with excellent communication skills and management acumen who readily establishes affinity and trust while advocating for the client and ensuring exceptional project performance.

Genevieve Saraiva

Director, Strategic Growth & Value Creation

Genevieve has nearly 20 years of professional experience in Corporate Finance, as well as Strategy and Growth, with over five years operating in the energy and infrastructure sectors. As a trusted internal advisor, Genevieve contributes valuable insights in transaction advisory and business valuations. In her current role, Genevieve focuses on advancing the organization’s strategic objectives and enhancing shareholder value.

Prior to joining OEC, Genevieve worked at EY in Transaction Advisory Services, serving a variety of sectors. Genevieve holds a degree in accounting from Georgia Southern University, where she attended on a full soccer scholarship. She received her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2007, and is a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), having achieved the third highest mark on the CICBV Membership Entrance Exam in 2010.

Annie Petrin

Director, Strategic Communications & Brand Experience

With nearly two decades of experience, Annie has established herself as a trusted communications leader within the energy industry. Most recently, Annie has overseen global and national marketing and communications portfolios, achieving elevated brand presence while driving growth and engagement.

Dedicated to making a meaningful impact, Annie is driven by a vision of creating a better future through strategic thinking, collaboration and above all, creativity.

Jordan Fletcher

Senior Analyst, Strategic Growth and Value Creation

Jordan brings over 6 years of strategic finance experience to the OEC Renewables team. Having spent several years with KPMG LLP in the public accounting space contrasted with his experience managing operations of renewable energy assets, Jordan brings an analytical yet practical perspective to the team.

Jordan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management along with a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo.
